The story behind Masseria Monte Pizzuto
When I met Gaia and Nicola, the owners of Masseria Monte Pizzuto, I was impressed by their passion for Puglia. They fell in love with the Masseria immediately and, after an extensive two year renovation, they have created a magical place full of original charm.
Masseria Monte Pizzuto is a wonderful example of traditional Apulian craftsmanship. A traditional farmhouse, typical of Puglia which has been restored with sustainability and low environmental impact at its core, benefitting from a naturally filtered eco-lake, an eco-friendly design and solar panel energy.
The Location
Trulli, Masseria Monte Pizzuto is found in a peaceful countryside location, 3 km from the beautiful town of Ceglie Messapica, near Ostuni, Cisternino, Martina Franca, and just 20 minutes for the Adriatic coast and 40 minutes for the Ionian coast.
The Accommodation
Masseria Monte Pizzuto is a beautiful balance of traditional architecture and elegant design, complemented by a strong focus on sustainability. It’s a place to be at one with nature without compromising on luxury and all the conveniences of modern living.
The layout of the accommodation is exceptional and offers the ultimate in private space with each bedroom having its own en suite bathroom. It’s a wonderful option for larger groups and family retreats.
- La Casina (main accommodation) features two en suite bedrooms
- The Trullo has its own private entrance and features one en suite bedroom
- The Stables is accessed from the gardens and features two bedrooms. Each has a private bathroom and entrance.

The Grounds
You’ll want to spend most of your time outside in the idyllic gardens which have been designed with your relaxation in mind. Set within 3000m2 of gardens and olive groves, Masseria Monte Pizzuto really is truly at one with nature.
Our large, natural bio swimming pool is the highlight of the gardens. Circular in design and overlooking the olive groves, it has a very low environmental impact with no chemical additives or chlorine. Aquatic plants and natural elements, clean and purify the water.
Various shaded terraces, perfectly placed pergolas and sun parasols, provide ample shaded spots and a welcome retreat from the midday sun.
Outdoors showers are great for cooling down al fresco.
A beautiful pergola on the edge of the olive groves is a wonderful spot for an informal lunch or dinner, providing seating for up to 16 guests.
A wood burning oven is the perfect opportunity to hone your pizza making skills.
Situated near the pool, within a low walled area, is a grass garden that offers privacy for sunbathing, and a hot tub for evening relaxation whilst star gazing.
Living & Dining
La Casina is the main accommodation and where you will find a spacious and bright double living room with sofas and TV for relaxing, a dining room for 10 people and a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. It also houses a guest WC.
Outdoors, guests love the various breakout spots for relaxing in the shade, bathing in the sun, and dining under the pergola with food and drinks prepared from the outdoor kitchen.

La Casina features two en suite bedrooms:
The master suite has a double bed and an adjoining sitting area with sofa bed. The en-suite bathroom has a jacuzzi bath and separate shower.
Bedroom two has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.
The Stables, with its own private entrance, offers two further en suite bedrooms:

Practicalities
Masseria Monte Pizzuto is equipped with a host of modern comforts, such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning in all rooms, a Smart TV and alarm system.
The accommodation is wheelchair friendly with no stairs, so it’s also suitable for guests who have difficulty with stairs.
