Al Riparo is a bijou romantic hideaway tucked in the eaves of the palace featuring the original barrel ceiling and a little rooftop terrace which offers a unique view of old town Gallipoli.
Returned to its former splendour with a recent renovation, the accommodation has the feel of an elegant hotel suite with the added benefit of a small kitchenette where you can prepare breakfast and light meals. There is also a fireplace for cosy autumn-winter stays..
Á few steps down from the apartment will take you to your private roof terrace where you’ll find a table and chairs, and a chaise longue to relax and enjoy the sun during the day or to stargaze at night.
A separate bathroom with a walk-in shower completes the accommodation.
Practicalities
Mare Mare Mare is accessed via three flights of stairs with handrail. There is no lift.
The stairs up to the main terrace are quite steep.
During the summer, you can park at the harbour, a few 100 metres away. Car access and parking is restricted in the historical centre during the summer season.
