The story behind Trullo La Sacchina
The name La Sacchina evokes happy childhood memories for the property’s owner. It was the name of the country house near Pavia, Lombardy, where he spent many summers as a boy. Being at Trullo La Sacchina brings back the same happy feelings for him, and he hopes you’ll make happy memories there too.
The Location
Trullo La Sacchina is situated in the Apulian countryside, midway between the towns of Ceglie Messapica and Ostuni, also known as Puglia’s white city. It’s also close to some of the region’s best beaches.
The Accommodation
Trullo La Sacchina has undergone some renovation to bring it in line with today’s modern standards without compromising the property’s original charm. Indoors, the trullo has an abundance of character and has to be seen firsthand to be fully appreciated.
Outside, guests will experience the ultimate in al fresco living with their own exclusive piece of paradise away from it all. Trullo La Sacchina offers a truly memorable stay.
Living
Domed ceilings galore, the accommodation comprises a stylish living area with a large sofa – thoughtfully doubling as a sofa bed – enjoying garden views and doors which open to the expansive patio. A working log fireplace for cooler evenings keeps things cosy.

The master bedroom has patio doors which lead out to the garden and features a double bed, clothes storage and a smart TV. The en suite wet room-style bathroom is equipped with a power shower.
Outdoors
The stunning gardens are landscaped, natural and quintessentially Italian in style. Sunbathing by the infinity pool is fully encouraged and dining should be experienced – lunch and dinner, at the long trestle table under the gazebo.
With extensive views of the surrounding gardens and the beautiful infinity pool, it’s the perfect spot to soak up the Apulian countryside.
Practicalities
The property benefits from air conditioning, WiFi, smart TVs, its own entrance and private parking.
The accommodation is on one level so is suitable for people with walking difficulties. Early check out (before 7am) incurs a 50 Euro charge.
